Odoo Project Management allows a user to create and manage a project with a team, with innovative and modern tools to better visualize the project’s progress.

In Odoo v15, Project Management Module is a fast user interface designed for modern project management and manages tasks for customer projects as well as our support issues in real time, agile, and flexible way. Project Management Module in Odoo v12 gives you a flexible workflow which helps you to plan and organize tasks, analyze time plans, assign tasks to prioritize tasks, structure your projects into different invoicing and managing contracts.

Under the Project Management module in Odoo v12, can design various ways to meet your needs: The Gantt chart view allows you to easily manage your resources and plans by simple drag & drop; The Calendar view also helps you map your deadlines and tasks needing the most attention; to analyze the progress of your tasks in the Graph view; Create specific stages per project and work on tasks and issues using the kanban view. Check project status in kanban state: Gray indicates the default situation; Red indicates a blockage in the progress of the tasks; Green indicates is the tasks are ready to be run to the next stage.

Firstly, you can install the Project module in your database.

In the below dashboard, there are the large improvements, when it comes to how your managers can see what’s going on the project overall.

In project view: Task stages were integrated in the project view so that you can see and add stages to different projects.

>> Now you can check the project status via red, green and orange dots. Check project status in Kanban state: Gray indicates the default situation; Red indicates a blockage in the progress of the tasks; Green indicates is the tasks are ready to be run to the next stage.

>> You will able to see stages in project and also define stages in Kanban view

>> You can see the time spent on each various task, Also you can see the deadline.

Bookmark project tasks

You can now bookmark tasks according on it’s priority.

Project Update View

After clicking on the task button, now you can illustrated the differences are at project updates as well, starting with the easy access using the track button on the top left corner.

Here from this view user will be able to know every summary for the respected project like generated total tasks, sales order, invoice, profitability analysis, Billable time, Budget, Gross Margin, Milestones etc.

Project Milestones

After clicking on the Add Milestone button in project updates view, you can explain project related milestones like, Milestone name, development completed, testing completed, project deployed etc.

 To add more than one person assigned to the task:

After click on the SHARE READONLY and SHARE EDITABLE button, now you can share read only and editable project to authorized persons in Odoo 15.
